What is an HTS code? 

Sometimes referred to as HS codes, HTS codes is generally referencing the Harmonized System or Harmonized Tariff Schedule which is used for global import and export paperwork to facilitate clear definitions of products between companies.

These schedules in each country provide information about applicable standard duties, extra tariffs, anti-dumping duties, counter veiling duties, and other country specific fees which can change based the specific product, country of origin, and country of destination.
